Australia - 1941 Two covers to England plus one to USA condition a little mixed all having Passed by Censor marks and one to USA opened and sealed with Censor tape. Two covers having different California Clipper cachets (one black one purple). One cover to UK has two stamps missing leaving only 5/- Robes SG176. ()

Bahrain - 1941 Bilingually hand addressed commercial air mail cover (a little damage at top) sent registered (blue on white R 137 registered label applied with Bahrain added in black ink) to Bombay at 5a 3p rate bearing KGV 3a carmine SG18 plus KGVI 3p slate SG20 and 1a carmine x 2 SG23 tied by three strikes of type 9 registered cds dated 23 April 1941. Cover opened and sealed at right with red on white "Arms" and "Opened by Censor" tape which is tied by black triangular C20 Bombay censor cachets both sides. ()

Bahrain - 1945 Hand addressed cover (opened roughly at left) sent air mail to Bombay endorsed "Language used Arabic" at 2a 6p rate bearing KGVI 3p slate and 1a carmine horizontal pairs SG38 and SG41 tied by type 8 cancel dated 3 May 1945. Opened and sealed at left with black on white PC90 "Opened by Censor" tape which is tied by purple DHC/365 cachet on front and black tomb stone DHC/80 censor cachet on reverse. ()

Bahrain - 1948 Hand addressed OAS air mail cover to RAF Radio School Compton Wilts England from RAF Bahrain, Persian Gulf, British Forces in Iraq bearing Bahrain overprints on Indian Stamps 3p slate x 2 and 1a carmine SG38 & 41 tied by Forces Post Office 756 double ring cds dated 25 March 1948. FPO 756 was located at RAF Shaibah Iraq (refer Donaldson page 68) and only used Indian stamps overprinted Bahrain for 3 months between 1 January and 31 March 1948. Scarce cds only in use for 3 months. ()
