The catalogue for my 55th postal auction (mail bid sale) closing at 5pm on Wednesday 16 May 2012 is now shown in the postal auction section of the website. Bids can be placed on line (in the secure bid area) or if you prefer by post, fax, e-mail or telephone.

Auction 55 is packed full of nice material with larger than usual ranges of non commonwealth material and postal history. Illustrations will be added over the next few days. The stamp section has for the first time new sections for thematics (Arab Post Day and World Wildlife Fund) and good ranges of material for most countries including much Gulf material. The non commonwealth section has good ranges of Germany, Iceland, Italy and Italian Colonies especially Libya plus a nice forgery of Zurich 4r SGZ4 with 2011 RPSL certificate. Postal Stationery section contains the usual excellent range of Great British lots split into sections per Huggins & Baker catalogue along with some better items from many countries.

Postal History includes more 1935 Silver Jubilee and 1937 Coronation covers along with some British Coffee Shop covers and Perfin covers along with some nice covers from many countries. The Cinderella section has a nice lot of Lundy stamps and covers with a similar lot of Railway material.
